Open Transport
Open transportation refers to a type of vehicle shipment, which involves using an open type of trailer to ship vehicles. This type of transport DOES NOT protect the vehicles from road debris, dirt, dust, rock chips, and weather events.
Enclosed Transport
Enclosed transportation refers to a type of vehicle shipment in which fully enclosed trailers are being used to transport vehicles. There are 2 types of enclosed trailers: hard side and curtain side. Hard side trailers have solid walls and roof covering and provide maximum protection from weather events, road debris, dust and dirt. Curtain side trailers provide similar type of protection, but do not eliminate the possibility of dust and dirt accumulation during transport. Some enclosed trailers have an option of temperature control.
Door-to-door Transport
This type of transportation refers to a most logistically intensive type of transport. Vehicles can be picked up directly from the garage or driveway and delivered to your garage or driveway. During this transport, multiple types of trailer equipment is necessary to perform the task. For example: a flatbed trailer might be used to pick up the vehicle from your driveway, it would then be taken to a terminal where the vehicle would be loaded onto a car transport trailer. Upon delivery at your chosen destination, same flatbed trailer would be used to deliver the vehicle directly to your driveway.
Military Transport
At Axilium Logistics we value and honor our veterans and active military personnel and provide transport services catered specifically to your needs. We can arrange to have your vehicle delivered to and received at any military base in the continental US as well as have it shipped to Hawaii. We can also arrange to have your vehicle picked up directly from a military base while you are on duty, training operations or unavailable due to a military mission.
